Big News! and Upcoming Screenings! (Newsletter)

We have exciting news regarding FROM HERE and we hope you can get inspired and share with your networks!

In the last months we have been busy orchestrating our international impact campaign, including an upcoming series of screenings along the U.S./Mexico border, events to support unionizing Food Industry workers in New York and New Jersey, and are about to launch the “Pass(t) uns allen” (Citizenship Suits All of Us) campaign in Germany to change citizenship and voting laws. Meanwhile, we are establishing partnerships with institutions and non-profit organizations in the Americas and Europe.

So far this fall, we have presented FROM HERE at international conferences in Madrid and Bologna, Italy.

In Germany, we organized a series of semi-theatrical and impact screenings all over the country. In Spain, we are having impact screenings to support the #RegularizaciónYa (Regularize Now) nationwide signature gathering campaign to amend immigration laws.

This September, FROM HERE received the BEST FEATURE FILM award at the New York Human Rights Film Festival and is an official selection at a number of film festivals throughout Europe and the U.S.

Also, Artist Sophia Wallace, sister of FROM HERE Film director Christina Antonakos-Wallace, received the Best Feature Film award on her behalf at the TRIBECA Film Center in NYC on September 30th.

And we are getting ready for the film’s U.S. broadcast premiere on PBS/America Reframed/The WORLD Channel this coming spring!
