NEW BLOG
As part of relaunching our impact and education site, With Wings and Roots, we have a new blog. We will use this space to deepen conversations about migration, identity, belonging, creative activism in the written word–inviting new voices and long term collaborators to chime in. We will explore the core themes of our work, based on values that ground us: centering voices that are systematically marginalized, valuing complexity, bringing an intersectional and international lens, and cultivating solidarity and belonging for all. The first guest entry is Making Jam with Gigi by Simon Borumond!
So much gratitude for the Womxn & Non-binary Collaborators of FROM HERE & With Wings and Roots of this past year.
As a final note, wanting to wish you a happy (belated) International Women’s Day–a holiday created by working-class women in the struggle for liberation and equality. As a team made up of womxn and feminists of all genders, we want to shout out the mothers and caregivers on our team, and around the world who have shown up for their loved ones and communities in this extremely challenging pandemic.
Love, Christina
