Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. 2020 continues to be a year that challenges us in new ways. We are grieving so many things–all of them interconnected. Just as the climate crisis seemed to eclipse our view on the West Coast, the loss of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the unconscionable forced sterilizations of immigrant women in ICE detention facilities remind us of how far we have to go in the fight for reproductive justice, gender equity, and basic dignity.
The stakes continue to rise, and we are persisting with our work to offer new narratives on immigration, and fight for future grounded in our shared belonging. I wanted to share some ways to connect:

FROM HERE will be viewable as part of Local Sightings Film Festival. This festival is curated by the pillar of Seattle’s filmmaking community, the Northwest Film Forum. There is a pre-recorded Q&A available after viewing the film with myself and Miman (pictured above), and you can access our home viewing guide to deepen the conversations with your household.
